Christmas ribbon or bows
*The Christmas tree must have the appropriate height according to the place in the house in which you are going to organize it (this tutorial is made with a 7.5-foot artificial tree).
The basic steps to assemble the tree are the following:
- Organize your tree according to its design: First, you must assemble the base, then you must assemble the tube and put it on the base, assemble the bud on the top of the tube and finally take the branches out of the box and place them in the tube in descending order (the largest ones below and the smallest ones above).
- Open the leaves on the branches to give the tree a more voluminous appearance.
- The first elements that you must place in the tree are the Christmas lights since these must be inside so that their light can be seen in a very subtle way. be sure to plug all string lights into a power source and check that they are working properly before proceeding.
Tip: Remember to leave the light sockets at the bottom of the tree to connect to the power strip.
- The second element that you must put in the tree is the decoration, this includes the foliage, the bows, the animals, the stars, and others.
Start by locating the element you have to decorate the treetop, I suggest using foliage. Then put the large elements such as animals, bows, or flowers, and finally the smaller elements and foliage to fill in small empty spaces.
- Finalize details checking that your elements are distributed symmetrically in the tree and without leaving visible holes.
- To finish, place the skirt of the tree at the bottom to hide the base, the power strip and the electrical cables.
The first thing to keep in mind is that you must have some basic materials.
Materials and Accessories:
Christmas light sets
Artificial christmas foliage
Christmas spheres
Christmas Animals
Christmas ribbons or bows
Others
- Nylon
- Multi-socket with electric cable
- Screws and bolts
- Drill
*The base for the garland must be the appropriate length for the space or piece of furniture you want to decorate.
The basic steps are as follows:
- Distribute the screws on the wall or surface where you are going to hang your garland, you must use at least 3 support points, if this is very extensive use 5 or more.
- The first element that you must locate is the Christmas lights since these must be inside the garland so that their light can be seen in a very subtle way. Be sure to plug your string lights into a power source and check that they are all working properly before proceeding.
Tip: Remember to leave the socket for the lights at one end, ideally the one closest to a power source, to avoid as many exposed wires as possible that could look unsightly.
- Now you must locate the base for the garland, and use nylon to fix it to the screws.
- The second element that you must locate is the decoration, in this, we will include the foliage, the bows, the animals, and the Christmas spheres.
Make sure to distribute all the elements in the garland symmetrically and secure them properly using nylon, sweet wire, or tape so they don’t fall off.
